The Valley of Wilmington Ancient Accepted Scottish Rite sponsors an annual Golf Tournament at the Dover AFB supporting the 436th Force Support Squadron. The squadron readies members for deployment, keeping them "fit and fed" providing lodging, counseling and recreation for the Airmen and their families.
The 436th Force Support Squadron is dedicated to providing a full range of quality Morale, Welfare and Recreation (MWR) support programs, services and events for 4,800 military/civilian members, 5,900 dependents, and 11,500 retirees, including manpower and personnel, sustainment services, Airman and family services, force development, and community services.
Funds are raised each year via golfer participation, well as the sale of tee signs, advertisements in an Ad Book, and various purchases, raffles, and contests on the day of the event. Your contributions to this organization are NOT tax deductible but remember it will help to support a very worthwhile organization that provides programs and services to our servicemen and their families.
